Are Big Brew events like a giant bar or drinking party?
Not at all. The Great Match, Texas Brewed and The Grand Tasting are all educational tasting events that are designed to let you experience beers that you do not have on a regular basis. Try'em and learn! Big Brew works to highlight craft beers from all over America. We invite you to taste 24 (1 oz) samples of these enticing beers that will excite AND experienced patrons alike. If you feel that you would like to continue the tasting experience past your initial 24 samples, you may purchase a second punch card that contains 12 (1 oz) samples for $2.00. Sampling portions are maximum permitted by the TABC...

How many beers are there?
Over the course of three days, Big Brew will have over 1,000 beers to excite your taste buds! The amount of beer and beer selections will vary from event to event.

How do I find the beer I want?
Upon entrance into the event, you will be given an event guide that will list all of the available beers. Each brewery table has a sign hanging above it that states the name of the brewery. The best way to find the brew you are looking for it to make sure it is being sampled by checking the list and then by heading to that brewery table! Keep in mind that due to market availability some changes may occur.

Why do breweries sometimes run out of beer?
Occasionally, breweries will run out of a popular product for the remainder of a particular event. There are over 1,000 other beers to take advantage of tasting, so we're confident you'll find many you'll love!

Where are restrooms located?
The restrooms for each event are located inside the GRB. You will be allowed to leave the event room and re-enter as long as your wristband is still intact.

Is smoking allowed?
Sorry, smoking is not allowed within any of the GRB event rooms. Please note that there is a smoking area outside the building and you may leave and re-enter the event as long as your wristband is still intact.

Is there any other alcohol at the event besides beer?
